JANE A SKULMOSKI, NCIDQ

BID, LEED AP

Owner and Principal

Director of Operations

Originally from Victoria, British Columbia in Canada, Jane received her Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the University of Manitoba. After working in both the residential and corporate markets in Canada, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2005 to work for Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK), one of the leading corporate/commercial design firms in the world. During her tenure at HOK, Jane gained valuable management and business experience within the Interiors department as part of the Leadership Group for the department and for their Strategic Accounts practice.  While providing design oversight on all her projects, Jane also oversaw organizational structure, managed project and department profitability, ensured efficient use of tools, assigned resources, and collaborated with staff to align their individual goals and desires with those of the firm.

Jane is a licensed Interior Designer with experience in the Corporate, Commercial, Hospitality, and Single-Family Residential markets with a focus on Project and Operational Management.

Jane brings her organization skills, intimate knowledge of the project process, and expertise in Strategic Management to all aspects of Modus. She also oversees the interior design of our projects and ensures integration with the overall architecture, to create a complete package. These skills are enhanced by her hobbies of planning camping trips with her husband Robert, knitting, and reading a plethora of novels (primarily 19th century British mysteries).
